Authentic Hand-Block Wash & Care Guide
Keep your 100% pure organic cotton and botanical dyes vibrant, soft, and heirloom-strong for decades.
1. Gentle Cold Wash
Machine wash cold separately on gentle delicate cycle. Use a mild, liquid plant-based detergent. Avoid harsh powder detergents or chemical spot removers.
2. Natural Dye Safety
Our prints use traditional mineral and vegetable indigo dyes. A faint surface dye release during the initial wash is completely normal and will not diminish pattern luminosity.
3. Line Dry in Shade
Natural shade drying preserves the tensile strength of the cotton fibers. If using a tumble dryer, run on delicate low heat and remove while slightly damp.
4. Warm Reverse Press
Warm iron on the reverse side of the printed fabric. This restores the crisp, hand-loomed texture and brings out the organic luster of the cotton weave.
⚠️ Never use chlorine bleach: Bleach breaks down organic cotton fibers and strips traditional vegetable dyes.
